Homeless people

Homeless people are the people who have no home to stay. Probably no family members or may be abandoned by them. They live in streets. Sleep in garage, shopping mall at night. Homelessness has migrated toward rural and suburban areas. Homeless people and issue of homeless are often the neglected issue.

The cause of homeless people is not a single one but there are many. The world wars left so many people homeless as they lost the family, house and relatives. Poverty is also the main cause of the people being homeless. If one cannot afford a food or shelter, they begin to ask for food and start living here and there instead returning back home. Even though, most of the homeless people are male and a single, We can even see families begging and living in the street at some places. Causing Mental disorder is also play the major cause to make people homeless as they loss the mental ability to live a normal life. Natural disaster such as earthquake, flood, tsunami also leaves many people homeless. There are even more causes of people being homeless such as Brain injury, drug addiction, Domestic violence and Eviction. There is also a chance for some people to be homeless as a result of their own choice and behavior.

In some nations as Brazil, India, Nigeria and South Africa homelessness is a big problem though there is difference in naming them in different countries. In U.S, over half a million people are homeless. Understanding homeless person is the most important. The problems they face are health problem, risk of happening anything at anytime.

The homeless problem will continue to increase if nothing is done. There are many community organizations and social movements around the world who have chosen to take action on the issue of homelessness. There are variety of services to assist homeless people. Housing is the first thing we can help to homeless people.  With health care and on providing food, ones can work to homeless people.
